Dear Residents of
Yorkville School District,

Our students, staff and community have a lot to be proud of. Our one building campus serves Yorkville, Raymond and Dover and provides a rich history of excellence in education. According to our Wisconsin DPI report card, we EXCEED EXPECTATIONS in areas of Achievement and Growth for a 4K-8 school district.

In April of 2006, our community approved a Facilities Referendum in support of a library, art room, cafeteria, gymnasium, stage, music rooms and office space. In April of 2018, again by the generous support of our community, voters approved an annual operations referendum that expires in June of 2023.

In October and November of 2022, over 50 members of our Board of Education, Administration, Staff and Teachers participated in the facility assessment process. This assessment produced a report identifying seven distinct areas of focus, including mechanical systems, electrical systems, technology systems, exterior maintenance, interior maintenance, special education spaces, and the site.

On April 4, 2023, the Board of Education is asking voters to consider two questions on the ballot: Question 1 asking voters to consider approving up to $12.1M for a bond referendum to address maintenance issues and Question 2 is asking voters to approve $900,000 in additional funding for an operations referendum.
